Laura Doyle

During her twenty+ years at DOYLE, Laura Doyle has kept an eye toward the future, having spearheaded digital strategies and new technological capabilities to constantly innovate the art of auction and appraisal. Along with her mother, Chairman Kathleen Doyle, she has overseen the company’s rise to becoming the largest woman-owned auction house in the United States.

The youngest daughter of company founder William Doyle, Laura Doyle grew up in the auction business, having begun her career at DOYLE in Client Services before serving as Director of the Jewelry Department. As CEO, she then expanded DOYLE’s network of regional representatives while focusing on strategies for global growth in collaboration with their luxury, digital and real estate marketing partners. She recently oversaw a major renovation of the company’s Manhattan headquarters and the acquisition of a new warehouse in the Bronx.

In 2016, Laura founded DOYLE’s online-only Hayloft Auctions division in the artistically vibrant South Bronx. A successful Internet start-up, and a valued member of the neighborhood, the project was honored by the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation for its work and commitment to the community, and Laura’s efforts were recognized by a print feature in Crain’s New York Business.

Born in New York, Laura Doyle was educated at Deerfield Academy and earned a BA in the History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania, during which time she spent a year studying at the Courtauld Institute in London. She is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) the Decorators Club, and a Board member of ArtTable.

We were so thrilled to hear from Laura in 2024.
